Crews will work to safely complete projects such as fire prevention thinning with hand tools and various other conservation projects in collaboration with USFWS Mora National Fish Hatchery. All Corpsmembers will receive both personal and professional development training in topics such as First Aid/CPR, financial management, and public speaking skills.
This is an AmeriCorps position and corpsmembers will receive a living allowance throughout the season, as well as an education award upon successful completion of the term of service. This award can be used to pay tuition at most colleges, universities, or trade schools, or to pay off student loans already acquired. Corpsmembers are also eligible for health insurance during their term of service.
$760 every two weeks, assuming full attendance
