Position Summary:
Join an AmeriCorps crew working on conservation (Bandelier Conservation Corps) or preservation (Bandelier Preservation Corps) projects throughout Bandelier National Monument.
Position Purpose:
Crews will work to safely complete trail maintenance and/or historic preservation projects in partnership with the National Park Service. All Corpsmembers will receive both personal and professional development training in topics such as First Aid/CPR, financial management, and public speaking skills.
Benefits:
This is an AmeriCorps position and corpsmembers will receive a living allowance throughout the season, as well as an education award upon successful completion of the term of service. This award can be used to pay tuition at most colleges, universities, or trade schools, or to pay off student loans already acquired.
